Located in the heart of the city of Modena in a 17th century building at a stone’s throw from Piazza Grande and the University Faculties.
The Collegio (Students’ Hall of Residence) is the oldest undertaking the Fondazione and was born at the beginning of the 17th century as a Collegium Nobilium.
Today it is reserved to students from the seats of learning of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
In 2001 it became a part of the permanent circuit of the University Halls of Residence legally recognized by the MUR, the Ministry of Universities and Research.
The Collegio provides lodgings in a single room with telephone, a laundry service, an internal self-service restaurant, study rooms, a computer laboratory and leisure areas. Each student contributes to the costs sustained by the Fondazione with an annual fee covering approximately half the costs borne by the Institute. The Collegio has provided, for the 2016/2017 academic year, for the reservation of 5 places for students of non-Italian nationality benefiting from international mobility scholarships for the period from 19/09/2016 to 31/01/2017.
