The goal of Mimprendo, is to create synergies among the most innovative companies and skilled university students. The project was launched in 2013 by CCUM together with Confindustria Gruppo Giovani, the Italian Companies Association of Young Entrepreneurs, based on a pilot project developed by Collegio 'Don Mazza' in Padua. Mimprendo is a challenge for students, graduate students and young graduates from all over Italy: they can practice their skills in real business environments and develop concrete projects through the collaboration with innovative companies.

Mimprendo connects the development needs of companies with the intellectual and creative potential of the university students. It’s an educational experience that is set up as a national competition among multidisciplinary team of students committed to develop real projects proposed by entrepreneurs themselves. In line with the mission of University Colleges, Mimprendo promotes students’ creativity, talent development and innovation. Mimprendo enables companies to develop projects and ideas in the perspective of ‘open innovation’ as well.

Mimprendo’s results are significant: in its 7 editions, 1600 university students have been involved; 500 were selected to take part in the multidisciplinary teams and they developed 92 projects inside the companies. 72% of the projects have been implemented before 24 months, 50% before 6 months; 50% of students involved in Mimprendo received employment proposals from companies.
