Internationalization: summer experiences of CCUM students in Osaka and New York

University Colleges of Merit continue to invest in internationalization as a central element of training, offering their students extraordinary opportunities for growth thanks to dedicated scholarships and the construction of global networks.

🇯🇵 A week at the Osaka Expo

From 18 to 25 July, 55 participants including students and staff of the Colleges took part in a trip to Japan organized by the College of Milan, as part of the collaboration with Italy Expo 2025 Osaka.
An experience that has united innovation and tradition, with visits, meetings and testimonies to discover Japanese culture and the Expo. A unique opportunity made possible thanks to the support of Fondazione Collegio delle Università Milanesi.

🇺🇸 Leadership Summer School in New York

In parallel, other scholarship winning students participated in a Leadership Summer School in collaboration with EuCA and the CUNY Malave Leadership Academy.
A week of intensive training on the topic of international leadership, including workshops and design sessions.

At the same time, a delegation of College Directors, led by President Carla Bisleri, visited some of the main American universities, including Pace, NYU and CUNY, starting a discussion on innovative practices in strategic sectors such as: Career Services, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Residence Life.

These experiences testify to the commitment of Conference of University Colleges of Merit (CCUM) in strengthening international mobility, encouraging the exchange of educational models and bringing new ideas and approaches to Italy.
