The Conference of the Spanish Colegios Universitario Mayores visits Rome
A fruitful exchange of good practices with the CCUM Board of Directors.

The visit to Rome by the delegation of Council of University Colleges of Spain, accepted by the Board of Directors of Conference of University Colleges of Merit (CUM). The meeting, held on October 6 and 7, 2025, represented an important moment of dialogue and discussion on good management and training practices in the University Colleges of the two countries.
The Spanish delegation — composed of Montserrat Wash, Vice President (Colegio Mayor Penyafort-Montserrat, Barcelona), Carlos Garcia, Secretary General, and María Cristina Pérez Sánchez, member of the Board of Directors (Colegio Mayor Nebrija, Madrid) — met with Italian representatives of the CCUM, including Carla Bisleri, President, and the members of the Board of Directors Elisa Valeriani, Giovanna Torre, Raffaele Calabrò, Angela Sancricca Ed Emanuele Meconcelli.
The first day, Monday, October 6, opened with an official meeting at the CCUM Representative Office followed by visits to the University Colleges Celimontano (RUI Foundation), Villa Nazareth (Tardini Foundation) and G. Tovini Residence (Don Mazza College).
On Tuesday, October 7, the delegation visited Vatican Museums.
The initiative has strengthened the ties between Italian and Spanish University Colleges of Merit, opening up further prospects for collaboration. Next appointment is the annual CCUME conference in Granada in February 2026.
