INPS scholarships for students whose parents are civil servants

01/01/2020

Once again, for the next academic year, students will be able to apply for the Scholarship offered by INPS (Italian National Social Security Institute) to cover part or all of the tuition fees at the University Colleges of Merit, which can be renewed until graduation.

Funding may be awarded to allow students whose parents are civil servants or retired civil servants who are members of the “Gestione unitaria delle prestazioni creditizie e sociali” (Unitary management of credit and social benefits), retired civil servants who are users of the “Gestione dipendenti pubblici” (Civil servants management), civil servants or retired civil servants who are members of the “Gestione Assistenza Magistrale” (Magistral assistance management), and members of the former Ipost Fund to attend a University College of Merit.

Students who win the competition will receive funding for the entire study period, also when transitioning from a Bachelor’s degree programme to a Master’s degree programme, provided that they graduate on time and that they matriculate in the Master’s degree programme as early as possible. In this case, students will retain the funding and will not need to renew their application.

The social security institution covers from 55% and up to 100% of the tuition fee funding awarded during the competition for admission to the University College of Merit.

Please note that in order to obtain the funding, students will first need to be admitted to the University College of Merit of interest after participating in the competition, as specified in the call for applications of each College.
